- Her comments sparked backlash on social media, with some saying, "It's on par with a male idol saying, 'All my fans are ugly. I can't remember such fans,'" "I don't like Shimazaki Haruka anymore," "I don't think I can like someone who appears on a broadcast and speaks badly about fans," and "So reckless".
