{Theqoo} ILLIT'S agency fires back: sues Min Hee Jin.

 This is BE:LIFT Lab.

Today, May 22, we have filed a complaint against CEO Min Hee-jin for obstruction of business and defamation due to her one-sided false claims causing harm to our company and our artists.

We clearly state that the plagiarism allegations raised by CEO Min against our artist ILLIT are not true. We have submitted evidence to the judicial authorities proving that these allegations are false, and although it may take some time, we will clarify the facts through proper legal procedures.

The determination of whether intellectual property has been plagiarized should be based on reasonable standards and procedures, not on individual unilateral and distorted interpretations. We express our regret that the efforts and achievements of our artists and members are being undermined by reckless speculations and false information.

Furthermore, although this matter is unrelated to ILLIT, the members of ILLIT are suffering from severe malicious comments, ridicule, and personal attacks. We earnestly request that the indiscriminate insults, malicious slander, false information, and defamatory attacks on our artists stop immediately.

We will do our best to protect our artists and members.

Thank you.

-Instead of apologizing, you're suing?

-I think they really want to kill her. It's like watching a movie.

-Wow, sue... Honestly, that press conference was a bit harsh, publicly.

-At first I thought they were suing malicious commenters... This is the first time seeing a company like this.

-So who did the following on Twitter the other day?

-I support ILLIT.

-New Jeans members are also suffering from malicious comments.

-They should have done this a long time ago.

-Boycott ILLIT.

-I would boycott, but I can't boycott what I'm already not consuming.

-Isn't this fact, though?

-I regret downloading ILLIT's song. Deleting it wont quell my anger.

-As a company, it seems natural to file a lawsuit in this matter. Regarding the plagiarism issue, Min Hee-jin can also file a lawsuit if needed.

-You're driving a person to the edge of a cliff.

-Can you explain the Twitter incident?

-Why not sue the haters instead?
