{EnterTalk} It's really funny how many artists and producers plagiarize DAY6.

VVS - Show Me the Money (PROD. GroovyRoom) sounds like a DAY6 song.

"The intro is exactly the same."

Vaundy's - Kaiju no Hanauta = Time of our Life

"The intro is exactly the same."

Nico Santos's - Number 1 = Love Me or Leave Me.

OP finds it amusing how many artists, especially rappers, borrow or plagiarize melodies from DAY6 songs. With so many songs where the melodies and accompaniments are identical to those of DAY6, OP wishes the artists would go reflect.

The OP also highlights the dismissal DAY6 as an idol band while taking all their songs. Yes, it's acceptable if the references are similar for a few seconds, but the ones OP compiled above match entirely in terms of melody and accompaniment.

"It's ridiculous how lesser-known producers blatantly copy DAY6's songs."

- [+83,-1] VVS seems like it involves sampling, but "Time of Our Life" was outright plagiarised. That kind of melody structure is uncommon and difficult to create, so if it's exactly the same, it has to be plagiarism.

- [+0,-0] Wow, is Nico Santos out of his mind? It's not just similar; it's exactly the same. The chords are identical, and the octave seems to match too. This is so frustrating!

- [+75,-1] For Vaundy's song, the intro is identical, but it becomes different later on. Still, the intro is definitely plagiarized, no question about it. Only the hardcore fans stubbornly deny it.

- [+0,-9] They say if it's similar, it's plagiarism.

- [+41,-0] When you dissect DAY6 songs, examining the accompaniment, pitch, melody, drums, bass, synth, and kick drum, there's no trace of a Japanese sound. It's ridiculous how some insist that DAY6 is imitating Japan based on unfounded claims. Their compositions are far from ordinary. Take the time to listen to the instrumental versions of DAY6 songs; they're the type that inspire imitation.

- [+36,-0] Despite being called idols and receiving more criticism than anyone else, DAY6 still face plagiarism and melody copying from other artists and producers. It's even funny that only close-minded individuals in the Hongdae scene dislike DAY6, while overseas bands praise them.

- [+0,-19] DAY6: A group with fans whose stupidity is unmatched in not being able to keep up with the singer's level.

- [+36,-0] But DAY6's song chords are quite unique. Even "Days Gone By" had a really fresh feeling. I hope DAY6 becomes even more successful.

- [+0,-7] If this constitutes plagiarism, then everything can be considered plagiarism.

- [+4,-0] With sampling being so prevalent these days, it's nearly impossible to differentiate between what is plagiarism and what's just sampling. It's a real challenge.
