- "I really don't like it when the staff and cast gather to greet each other at the end. I prefer simply showing behind-the-scenes stills. It really disrupts the immersion."
- "I'm usually not emotional, but one recent ending that stands out in my memory for blurring the lines between drama and reality is from Cheer Up.
With most of the cast being rookies, they emphasized their real names more than their characters and sent supportive messages to young people entering society. They showed glimpses of the filming process, showed the behind-the-scenes atmosphere, and concluded with a collective farewell greeting."
- "I hate it more than open endings. That's how much I really hate it."
- "If it's not a concept like Deadpool right from the start, I dislike it every time."
- "The type of ending, reminiscent of Titanic, is the pinnacle of endings... It gives me the feeling of watching a great theatre production I enjoyed. I get to remember it's all acting, and feel compelled to say 'Well done' at the end."
-- "This works a little differently because it at least feels like Rose's perspectiveã…‹ã…‹"
- "It depends heavily on how it's directed. Suddenly talking like some public service announcement is lame. But if they engage with me, not as an audience member but as one of the characters inside, it becomes fun..."
- "If I'm watching the drama as a drama, but it suddenly ends like that, it feels like getting dragged by the hair right back into reality without any lingering emotions or reflection.
If it's just a light-hearted storyline without much substance, then it's okay."
- "To be honest, I even dislike the group shots with the production team ㅜㅜ"
- "Doesn't matter.
Since I watch it throughout thinking, 'It's all acting anyway.'"
[I personally cannot stand this type of ending but the examples knetizens gave are some of my favourite endings. I might reconsider my opinion...]
